Will this break my store or affect customer checkout?
We audit public pages without store credentials. Review the generated kit on an unpublished theme or staging copy, reconcile existing schema, and approve before publishing. The kit does not change checkout or customer records.
Shopify already has AI features and native files. Why do I need CitedCart?
Shopify provides native discovery files, but individual themes can leave product and policy data incomplete. We focus on server-rendered product data and a separate brand guide linked from your store. Replacing Shopify’s root /llms.txt is not confirmed.
Do you guarantee that ChatGPT or Perplexity will recommend my products?
No. The audit measures technical readability, not actual recommendations, rankings or revenue. Clear structured data supplies facts an agent can use; recommendation decisions depend on many other signals.
Why can't AI bots just read the text on my website?
Agents can read ordinary text, but retrieval and JavaScript support vary. Explicit JSON-LD makes product and policy fields easier to identify in the raw response. It complements useful page content.
How long does the implementation take?
The audit reads public files and a sampled product. Completion depends on the store response. The kit is generated automatically from your confirmed facts. You review and install it on a theme copy or staging site. No fixed installation turnaround is promised.
What if my store is on WooCommerce instead of Shopify?
The WooCommerce kit uses live product data and confirmed policies. Review existing SEO plugin output first, then enable the kit schema only after resolving duplicate Product declarations on staging.
What happens if an AI crawler is blocked by my firewall?
We inspect robots rules and record responses received by our honest audit client. This cannot prove how a verified AI-bot IP is treated by a firewall. A blocked store receives no score; we do not bypass the block.
Can I cancel the monthly Watch subscription anytime?
Yes. Cancellation stops future subscription monitoring. A kit you installed stays on your store until you remove it. This local preview uses sandbox payments; production provider setup is still required.
